Rachel was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated cum laude from Trinity University in 2015 with a B.A. in English and Economics. After several years of working in the real estate industry, she attended law school at SMU Dedman School of Law as a Dean’s Scholar. She obtained her J.D. in May 2021, graduating cum laude and on the Pro Bono Honor Roll. Throughout law school, she clerked for multiple government entities, including the Federal Aviation Administration, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the City of Grand Prairie. She also served as a pro bono law clerk for the Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas Community Revitalization Project. Rachel currently serves as the City Attorney for the cities of Benbrook, Seymour, and Cresson and attends the Town of Flower Mound’s Planning and Zoning Commission meetings. She also serves as the firm’s expert in matters pertaining to short-term rental regulations, including drafting, enforcement, and litigation.
