James was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2004 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He received his JD from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2010. While attending law school, he participated in the Spong Moot Court Invitational Tournament in 2009 and 2010, and served as a licensed legal intern for the Cleveland County District Attorney’s Office. Prior to joining TOASE, he served as an Assistant Vice President at Northstar Bank of Texas. He is currently serving as City Attorney for Richland Hills, Annetta South, and White Settlement.
