Eric Garza was raised in San Antonio, Texas. He attended Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., where he competed on the varsity baseball team on an athletic scholarship. Eric graduated from Georgetown University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Minor in Music. He then attended Texas A&M University School of Law and received his J.D. in 2023 with a concentration in Intellectual Property.
During his time at Texas A&M, Eric served as the Treasurer of the Business Law Society and was an active member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. Eric also participated in the Trademark and Copyright Clinic, where he provided free legal services to local individuals and small businesses. As a member of the Clinic, Eric assisted clients with the handling of their intellectual property, including the registration and prosecution of federal trademark and copyright rights. Eric then returned to the Clinic for an additional semester to serve as a teaching assistant to the lead attorney, where he supervised and assisted new Clinic members.
Before joining TOASE, Eric gained valuable experience working at an insurance defense firm, where he developed strong foundations in Texas administrative law and civil litigation.
As an attorney at TOASE, Eric seeks to serve his community and the municipalities of the greater Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex through selfless service and zealous client advocacy. Eric is regularly attending Zoning Board of Adjustment meetings in the cities of Cleburne and Bedford.
