Growing up in Little Rock, Arkansas, William will always have a fondness for the Natural State. However, after attending Texas Christian University, he knew Fort Worth would be his permanent home. After graduating magna cum laude from TCU with a B.B.A. in Accounting, William pursued his legal education at Texas A&M University School of Law, where he graduated cum laude.
During his time at Texas A&M, he was an active member of the Journal of Property Law, serving as Associate Managing Editor of the Journal. His coursework in land use and natural resources law particularly interested him, as he recognized the critical role those areas play in shaping our communities.
While attending law school, he gained valuable experience working as a research assistant for Professor Vanessa Casado-Perez; conducted legal research by working on initial drafts of orders for the Honorable Judge Lee P. Rudofsky, U.S. District Judge for the Eastern District of Arkansas; and demonstrated problem-solving skills for legal clinic clients by helping them reach resolutions to their varied issues. William is a published author, with an article analyzing the shortcomings of the Endangered Species Act. He is a member of the Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association, committed to staying at the forefront of legal updates.
