Rob was born in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. He graduated cum laude from Texas Christian University in 1987 with a B.B.A. in finance and then attended Texas Tech University School of Law where he obtained his J.D. degree in 1990.
Rob began his legal career as an associate with Fielding, Barrett & Taylor, LLP in 1990, and then joined Taylor, Olson, Adkins, Sralla & Elam, LLP when it formed in 1997, where he has been a partner since 2003.
Rob has extensive experience in municipal law, currently serving as the City Attorney for the cities of Weatherford, Bridgeport, Crowley, and Lake Bridgeport. Additionally, he serves as General Counsel for the Bridgeport Economic Development Corporation, the Crowley Economic Development Corporation, the Weatherford Housing Authority and the Wise County Water Supply District. In addition, he also handles all types of eminent domain matters for the firm’s representative clients and on a contract basis for other governmental entities, including major drainage, utility, and right-of-way projects, park land acquisitions, and new municipal buildings/facilities.
