Larry has over 30 years of experience in real estate transactions and document preparation, zoning, land use and development, economic development, construction, procurement, and public utilities. He has served as the Deputy City Attorney and First Assistant City Attorney for the City of Denton and as a Senior Assistant City Attorney in both Dallas and Fort Worth.  Larry’s primary areas of practice are in real estate (including eminent domain), land use and development, economic development, public utilities, and procurement and public contracting. 

Before working primarily on the city side of municipal law, Larry was in private practice representing clients, including local governments, in real estate transactions and disputes (including development, zoning and land use, purchase and sale, and financing); workouts and bankruptcy; construction contracts; commercial leasing; oil and gas leasing and surface use; entity formation, maintenance, and dissolution; and general corporate, employment, and business work. Larry has represented local and out-of-state financial institutions in commercial real estate secured transactions and financing, foreclosures, workouts, and bankruptcy.
