Charlotte L. Staples

Charlotte was born in Lubbock, Texas in 1968. She obtained her Bachelors of Arts degrees in Psychology and Communications from the University of North Texas in 1991. For many years she was employed with Child Protective Services and other social work organizations, and continues doing volunteer work for people in need. In 2011 CASA nominated her as CPS attorney ad litem of the year. While attending St. Mary’s, she was president of their chapter of Phi Alpha Delta, International Legal Fraternity and clerked for Judge Robin Sage. She is a mediator trained in mediations, negotiations and family law mediation. Her primary area of practice is municipal law.
