Cara Leahy White Born in Jamaica, New York in 1972. Ms. White attended Texas A&M University and received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Degree in 1994. She then attended South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas, where she graduated summa cum laude with her Juris Doctor degree. While attending South Texas College of Law, she was a member of the Law Review, Assistant Articles Editor Fall of 1996, and a member of The Order of the Lytae. She co-authored with Carvan E. Adkins the following papers presented to seminars sponsored by the Texas Council of Mental Health Mental Retardation Centers: 'Demystifying the EEOC Process' presented by Mr. Adkins January 20, 1999; 'Privacy Issues for Public Employees' presented by Mr. Adkins March 30, 1999; and 'Privacy Issues Surrounding Internet and E-mail Usage' presented March 14, 2000. She is admitted to practice before the Texas Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Her primary area of practice is employment and public law.
