Wayne K. Olson Born in Lima, Peru in 1954. He attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas from 1972 through 1974 and graduated from Southern Methodist University with a B.B.A. degree in Real Estate in 1976. He then attended the University of Texas School of Law where he graduated with a J.D. degree in 1979. From 1979 until 1987, Mr. Olson was an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Fort Worth, working primarily on zoning, planning, and development matters. Since 1987 he has been in private practice in the area of municipal and public law with an emphasis in real estate development and land use law. He is currently serving as City Attorney to the cities of Granbury, Lake Worth, Haltom City, and Kennedale. He is a member of the American Bar Association, State and Local Government and Government Lawyers Sections, the State Bar of Texas-Administrative and Public Law Section, the Texas City Attorneys Association, and the Tarrant County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas.
