Douglas W. Black
Born in Seattle, Washington in 1967. Mr. Black graduated in 1991 from the University of Colorado, Boulder, where he received a B.A. in International Affairs. He received his J.D. degree from University of Denver College of Law in May, 2000. Mr. Black is a member of State Bar of Texas, Tarrant County Bar Association, Fort Worth-Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association. His primary areas of practice are business and commercial litigation, municipal litigation, environmental law and municipal law. He is currently serving as City Attorney to the City of Newark and Town of Annetta North. Mr. Black is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Eastern and Southern Districts of Texas, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He is fluent in German.
